It was a nice weekend tour of Garpanchkot. I will share my experience here.
We travelled the distance by train(Black diomond express from Burdwan) and reached Kumardubi station at around 10:30 AM.From there we took an auto and reached to garpanchkot.We stayed at the govt resort.It is important that you book the resort before you go there,we were very lucky to get a room there as one room was available.
It is around 17 KM from Kumardubi railway station to garpanchkot resort.We took the lunch there and after that we left for joy chandi hill .It is a nice place with temple at the top of the hill.We stayed there for few hours and then again returned to resort.We enjoyed the sightseeing on the way.
It was a nice stay at the resort.In the next morning we decided to walk through the whole resort.We found a path which lead us to to the view point at panchkot hill.We would not advice everybody to take that path unless one is not confident enough to climb .
